It'll never happen to me ...
So glad you are both OK! You WERE really lucky you were driving your jeep. I got hit by a semi a few years ago and walked away. Not sure I would have in anything other than the jeep. It did a lot of body damage, but it was fixable (the frame wasn't bent surprisingly...). I wouldn't have anything...- dfourmet

Hmm, that sounds reasonable (unfortunately the shop already fixed it for her so I can't have her check). They told her it was coming back on after a few minutes (not staying on - but who knows). I think there is a good chance it al was BS, but it's her money....:rolleyes:- dfourmet

evic question help please
There is a really nice thread in the "how to" section on Evic installation. I installed one about a month ago and it wasn't too bad (my jeep wasn't wired for it either). I would get one off ebay rather than the dealer though......- dfourmet

evic issue--need help soon
This is probably way too late to help you, but I spliced into the fused wire running to my radio (I believe it was pink - and because I have an aftermarket radio the wiring harness actually has written descriptions on the wires).
