    another libby!

I can't go anywhere without tripping over 3-4 of them along the way... Within my neighborhood there are three others within a 1/4 mile of my house alone. Only one is lifted - and it has Moab rims too! ( I need to go meet these people - they appear to have good taste!)

    Battery Hold Down Bracket

You can get the clamp at the dealership's parts department. Can't remember how much it was, but I broke mine a few years ago... In the battery tray there is a slot on the headlight side that the lip on the bottom of the battery slides into, then the wedge shaped clamp on the Windshield side...

    TOMKEN Brushl Guards

I finally found two decent looking (:imo:) Brush Guards for the Liberty. They are made by Tomken, and don't have all the goofy looking bends that most of the others incorperate trying to match the Liberty's bug-eyed aperance. I realy like the smaller one...

Need some advise on what to do next...

I too spend a good amount of time reading everyone's opinions before dropping the hammer on some OME springs for my lift three or more years ago - never regretted it. Done once - done right. Lots of experience here as well as good advice.

    Battery Replacement!

I Agree with Wheeee32 I've got red top Optimas in both my full size Dodge, and the Liberty. The Dodge is going on at least 7 years, (Jeep's on it's third) and here in the AZ summer, if you get three out of a battery, it was a good one. Can't say how they are in the cold.... Best part ...

    Anyone running Hankook DynaPro ATm's?

I too am late to the party, and have been MIA for a while. I have the 265/75-16 Hankook Dynapro ATMs on a full-ize Dodge short bed for about 8 months now and love them! At the time, they were the cheepest tire Discout had in that size - around $125. They ride far better than anything else...

    low tire pressure light

If I remeber correctly, not only do they go off when a tire is low, it is designed to throw the warning when the presure is too high as well. If you start at 35PSI cold (a handy trick to increase milage - and a good idea if you're loaded down) it is possible that when the tire warms up...

    05-07 in-grill fog lights - couple questions

Is there a difference in the fog lights used in 05, as compared to later 06-07 Liberty? Has anyone ever used the KOOL-VUE OEM replacement fog lights from USAutoParts? I have an 06 Limited with the factory fog/driving lights in the grill. I beleive the MFG date is in FEB if I remeber...

    Finally new tires coming

Hey Ry' Great looking tires! Not to Hi-jack, but I thought I might comment On Big-O A/Ts for jguthrie... I've had Big-O A/Ts on two different vehicles. One was an '81 Datsun Longbed 4x4, the other was a '99 Dodge Ram Shortbed 4x2. The Datsun was totalled over 20 years ago, and on the...

    Manual Winches

I'll have to remember that one - glad it was asked. I'm just going to have to make a point of watching The Red Green show more often so I can keep up with the Canadian slang... :happy175:

Defroster ON -> Belt Screeching = A/C issue?

The screach is definitely a sign of a problem. It's typically caused by the belt slipping, and a slipping belt will effect the cold air output of the A/C. The problem may be as simple as a worn or loose belt (simple). It may also be the tensioner spring is getting weak or the noise is...

    Rear Lift Gate Clearance?

IIRC, someone had posted that you could also remove the tire mount, rotate it 180 degrees, and re-mount it to the tailgate - whithout re-drilling anything. This was good for about 1"-2" of additional tire-to-glass clearance. BTW, my 245-75-16 MTR's clear just fine. I beleive the difference...

    Looking forward to this delivery!

2X Plus the 16" rim is a little easier to find tires for a lower price.

Had 5th window regulator repaired on our 2002 KJ Limited

I've had over 9 fail. All rear windows, and mainly (7) the driver's side. Finally, I bought and installed the Stieger Performance kits for both rear windows. No problems since If you ever see how flimsy the peice of plastic is that holds everything up, you'll wonder how you even got it...

    Windsheild wiper opinons

There are only two things that destroy wipers here in AZ, and over use is not one of them... HEAT AND BUGS! Most people here change them at the first real sign of rain (alot of water on the windsheild). Fortunately, it only rains once or twice a year...:party36: followed by the...

    Yippy!!!

So you have a roof basket now, along with a second one you picked up at a thrift store (IIRC), and you'll be buying a third for more room. What's the chances you are coming to the Phoenix area for vacation soon? You could just throw one of the spare ones on top of everything else and donate...

    Roof Rail Removal...

    Roof Rail Removal...

Say that 3 times fast... Anyway, I'm considering a new roof rack, and was wanting to take off the current roof rails to take a few measurements, and maybe con my brother into some welding. Do the plastic end caps just snap together, and therefore just pull apart with some gentle prying...

    Looking forward to this delivery!

I have an '06 and like you said, I've worn some small holes in the pinch weld plastic, but no sign of metal contact. The bigest problem, is backing up with the wheels turned. Then the tire cleats seam to catch the lip on the front air dam. I want to get out the saws-all, but my wife is...
