    weird idling

I have to agree this is the kind of problem that needs a hook up to get correct diagnosis - can work out cheeper in the end as there's too many possible causes - save you changing parts to rule out cause. PS: Great colour us patriots have to stick together Good luck

    Window Creakin'

Your not the first to have creeking from somewhere at the rear - I remember an old thread on similar problems. Try unlatching the rear seats and drive with them flat for a while I remember people having trouble with seat catches rattling / creeking. idea.gif

    Grease

Didn't mean to turn this into a tyre thread but here goes... Looked on tyrerack: since it's personal opinions it's a bit of a mixed bag really. Goodyear Wrangler HP came out at 10/10 these are fitted as stock on UK Jeeps(NOT THE SR-As). Mine are almost down to the wear marks but don't slide...

    Interior/Dome Light Flickering

I've also got this problem on an 02 - the cause is the turn signal stalk itself - the one with the rotary switch that controls dial brightness and also turns on interior lights if turned fully away from you. This stalk is seriously over worked too many functions ! If I mess about with it I can...

Hi Jimmy Jeep been a while mate.... I presume your greasing suspension bushes etc? Are you by any chance experiencing noise on bumps or is it simply general maintenance. I get a suqeek as rear suspension compresses then another as it lifts back up to ride height hoping its bushes not shocks...

tire rotation & spare tire holder removal

hi fellas with regards to inflation and alingment all 4 tyres show even wear all over no problems there. All 4 have same ammount of wear so rotation would have made no difference at all - the difference in the UK is the nature of the road ways amount of roundabouts every couple of miles...

tire rotation & spare tire holder removal

Thats 25000 MILES - this seems excellent to me i've never had tyres last that long makes me think they have been replaced already yet they are still stock wranglers. Maybe previous owner got them replaced at the dealer.

Ha a tyre wear thread - great timing..... My 02 Jeep now needs new meats the standard Goodyear Wranglers have just about had it. The front need replacing and the rear ones are only a little better but also need replacing. My Jeep has done 25000 miles on these tyres and overall I'd say wear is...

    Loud Noise Hitting Bumps

Jeepjeepster - I take it that the ball joint on the upper A - arm you refered to is at the rear? And as you say symptom occurs when driving very slowly over large bumps, so definatly not bottoming out. It could well be the shocks as the two tone noise seems to match the movement of the shocks...
