I talked to another place and the guy told me $150 $200 Max for both sides depending on what else he finds when he takes the fenderwell out.
Has anyone else had to get there shock mounts repaired/welded?
How did it happen?
How did the repair come out?
Stopped in to a body shop. They told me the same thing; should be able to sand it down and weld it up. They told me that it should not be to exspensive either...under $500 for both for sure. They would have to take a good look at they said to make sure.
I had squeaking noise was coming from the rear suspension. As I was looking into it, I noticed the right rear shock mount had a crack in the back out corner. Looked at the right side and it had a crack developing. Has anyone experienced this? Moreover, if so what should I do to prevent/ fix this...

Is it normal to have no threads showing when you torque down your the nuts on the studs for the mount plate? I know the OTT plate provided will shorten the distance you have for running down the nuts. I just wanted to know if this is normal and has anyone experienced problems? In addition, my...
I was hoping maybe if someone replaced their UCAs with new UCAs, maybe they would have the old set hanging around. You should be able to take off and install on another UCA boot if it is good condition. This is the situation I was hoping to fall into.
Spent the afternoon trying to get a couple more flat washers in on the top rear shock mounts. And the squeak kind of went away. I only hear it on bigger bumps now. Things are looking up \:D/ ...will see how it does in the am. If anyone has any other good ideas I'll take them.
I used the 12mm sleeves that RRO recommended...and I added a couple off 7/16's flat washers to take up the play. I have also lubed and anti seized everything in sight and still I have the squeak. I am at a lost for solutions.
I have had the lift on for about 2 weeks now. I thought that it needed to settle as well...then I got the alignment and it seemed to settle even more. However, I think it has settled as much as it can. Thanks for the input! I am going to install those extra insulator as soon as I get them.
Thanks for the advise I will check this out. What do you think about adding an extra top spring insulator? Marlon_JBT liked the idea of adding the extra insulator...I am trying to get a few thoughts on this before I go with it.
Wow! That is cheap, however I am trying to track down just the boot for now. I was hoping someone would have an extra boot tuck away or an old Upper Control Arm set aside that they are willing to take the boot off of. Thank you for the info. I will keep you in mind if I can't find something in...
How much of a lift in the rear will it provide? Will I have any problems with it dislodging? Also, I have DT 3000 rear shocks and they are sqeaking like crazy every time I go over a bump...what could be causing this?
Looking for Upper Control Arm Ball Joint Boot. Ripped the orginal during install of lift kit. Can't find the little boot anywhere. It is only sold with Upper Control Arm. Does anyone have one of these hanging around and what do you want for it?
I have a RRO 2.125 Combo Kit. After I installed it, I noticed that it appeared to sit a little high in the front. I know the reason for this is the OTT plate that is provided. However, I am interested in leveling it out in the rear. Does anyone have any suggestion on how I could do this? I...
