    Toyo open country A/T's

Thinking about getting set of these in 235/70/16. They're $107 each and seem like a good tire. Anyone have any experience with these? The stock good years are almost shot already at 22k miles. they suck.

    Neoprene Seat Covers

I second the Mopar ones. Theyre a good product and you can do the entire vehicle for less than $300. I have no experience with the wet okale covers but order some for my superduty since ford doesnt like to make aftermarket products like mopar.

    Low Range

Some vehicles have gates and some dont. My Ford pickup has the gate similar to the KJ. My 01 Dodge Ram just went straight in line, no gate at all.

    New subgroup???

Yeah but if the "other 4x4's" were in a diferent folder you wouldnt have to sort through abunch of topics about other vehicles. Just dont go in that section of the site. I thnik it would be good. I wouldnt mind posting once in a while about my F350 in another folder. I think "Jeep KJ's"...

A few things I noticed between 2005 and 2006 Limited

The 2006's have standard ABS and ESP (electronic stability program). They also now have a sensor in the front passenger seat that will trigger a seat belt alarm if the passenger isnt buckled. Thats all I know of. My wife has an 05 and my sister bought an 06. Both identical options except the color.

how to drain water separator on crd

Alot of the ford PSD guys say drain it about once a month. My 6.0 hasnt been drained in 18 months and the light hasnt come on. If you go to a station with a high turn over of fuel you'll be getting good stuff and probably wont have a problem. If you keep getting the light to come on then I would...

    Husky Molded Liners

I got the weathertech liners on my truck, theyre nice. They dont fit perfect in a superduty with the manual t-case though, but good enough. I like the design because they drain out the side by the door on mine. I have the weathertech cargo liner in the back of the liberty. Costs about $100...

    New for 06?

My wife has an 05 and my sister has an 06. The 06 has a sensor in the front passenger seat that makes the seat belt reminder go off if the front passenger isnt buckled. It also has standard ABS and standard ESP. The 06 also sits about 1/2 inch taller. Both are optioned out the same, just 1 year...

    low speed "clunk"

Whenever im going really slow, like moving around in the driveway, I get a weird clunk like something is lose in the rear. Mostly happens in reverse when hitting the breaks on and off lightly. Is this normal? Sounds like its something to do with the rear brakes. Should I take it in, its under...

    remote car starters??

Just had one installed. $200 including installation, not bad. Dont know the brand but it just has a little remote with one button, no other keyless entry or anything. It works great but those longer warm up times kill your mileage. But ill take that with the temps the last week around 0 in the...

    NEWBIE CRD OWNER!

I was out driving the KJ around in the snow the other day, drives real good. A little better than my truck. No limited slip to kick the rear end around. Even in 2wd the KJ just goes. Were very happy with it so far. Almost 5k on the clock since august.
