Towing & Lifts
You shouldn't need an extra drop on the hitch. As long as you can get the trailer onto the ball, the 2" difference will hardly be noticeable, especially with the weight of the trailer compressing the suspension.- froop

Rusty's Air Tube
I most certainly wouldn't be taking my KJ through any mud holes or water crossings with that thing on. The air box is certainly no substitute for a snorkel, but if I had that airtube on I would've hydro'd my engine at least ten times over by now.- froop

Hidden Power Inverter
If you're not running any devices off it, there is no current being drawn. OK, so maybe there's a little bit, but it will be next to nothing. If you do that, make sure you wire the switch through a relay. You most definately do not want the switch in line with a high current draw device. Same...- froop

Umm.. 3 x KJs 4 x TJs 2 x WJs 1 x ZJ 1 x XJ One of the KJs lost its serpentine belt on the way home. Did a bearing, so even once we managed to get it back on again it only lasted a few seconds. And I thought I was going to have to limp home in 4LO, because my transfer case lever wasn't...- froop

OME 2" + a bit more?
Correct. I noticed that before the lift, the CVs angle upwards towards the wheels on flat ground, so on down travel, they go past horizontal before bending down. At the moment they're sitting just slightly upward of horizontal.- froop

Thanks Ian, Yeah, I realise that the OME lift isn't the full 2", but it's easer to say. I didn't get before and after measurements, but it's probably even less that 1.75"/1.5" with the ARB bar on the front, and a steel longrange tank in the rear. Plus I think the diesel donk is also a bit...- froop

If you have any concerns about overloading the BCM, go to your local electronics parts shop and pick up a relay for about 50c.
