It’s a 2004. Kinda figured this but wanted to make sure first

Seal on passenger side leaks so bad the oil drained from the reservoir…. I put in new hose and pump (thought that was the problem). All the oil leaked out on passenger side of rack. Does anyone know if this can be repaired while still in the vehicle?

Well I got it figured! the micro switch is for sure not working. The latch does work and it works with the fob. It also works fine if you know where to push on the latch to activate it manually. The closing problem afterwards was just needing to move the entire latch outwards a bit. There is...

Ok that got the latch to open, but when I push on the window to close it, the latch doesn’t lock. Is it supposed to activate and pull the window closed?

Could be the rear cv on your front drive shaft. Common problem with them.

Yup it sure did. The low range shifter fork was worn out. Nylon slippers were gone and the aluminum guides under those slippers were wearing down. All new bearings and seals now. Work good
