If it’s push 3 times I can almost guarantee you it doesn’t have a hood switch. Those are most often aftermarket “plug and play” units. Dealer won’t touch them.

On your remote, do you actually have a remote start button or do you hit the lock button 3 times to start it?

I’ve never seen a hood safety switch on a jeep dealer install, myself. But normally on after markets, it’s on the drivers side near the fuse box - it’s just a plunger switch.

Just an update. I fixed it. It was the cam sprocket. This guy helped a lot in making a timing chain wedge. I used a 2x4 and a table saw for mine

Yeah I figured that out after I asked the question and saw the 03 is a 3 plug and 06 is a 4 plug pcm. I’m driving and searching the forum for twobobs but I’m 4 pages deep and not seeing anything. If you have a link I’d really appreciate it. If not, I’m sure I can find it when I get home.
