Just curious- why does the display light being on matter, I disabled my airbags a long time ago and just ignore the light.

Definitely high- your probably paying more for wrench time. You could probably buy the parts from a used auto parts store for half that price if your capable of doing the work yourself.

Thanks, I was pretty sure that if it was the same model it would work, just wasn't sure if the limited diesel and the sport had the same bodies.

Sounds like a transfer case issue. I had the same thing happen to my 07 Liberty sport a few years back. It got worse and worse till eventually the 4wheel drive shaft came completely out of the transfer case and busted the coupling and ****** that holds it in. Don't wait for it to happen, fix it now
