Walmart copied transponder key and programming 3rd key

I haven't yet but the only thing I can figure out is that I will have to go to a dealer or a locksmith.

    Dreaded P0420 help.

I did try to soak the converter in soap and water and I used duralube catalytic converter cleaner too and still getting the code after those. The honeycomb in the converter looked intact and didn't appear clogged.

    Dreaded P0420 help.

I don't know if anyone local so does that unfortunately. Think I'm going to try the spacer first and then go from there. Thanks!

    Dreaded P0420 help.

My 2005 Liberty 2.4L has started throwing the P0420 code. Runs fine. It will only do it when I ride about 30-45 minutes. Short trips out won't come on. I can clear the code and it will stay off until I drive 30-45 minutes. I had replaced the front O2 sensor when I first got the Jeep because of...

Walmart copied transponder key and programming 3rd key

That's what I was thinking, so then I wouldn't be able to use that key to program a 3rd?

Walmart copied transponder key and programming 3rd key

My 2005 Liberty only came with one key. I have noticed that Walmart will copy transponder keys for Jeeps for around $60, but doesn't have the FOB controls, key only. I know you have to have 2 keys to program other keys. So what I would like to do is get a Walmart transponder key and then buy...

New to me Jeep and steering issues, please help.

Thank you! Called the place I had the alignment and they said that they looked at them and they looked bad but felt ok to them. I jacked up both sides under the frame and used a small bar and gently picked up under each wheel and could see the ball joints move up and down, especially on the...

New to me Jeep and steering issues, please help.

Ok, ball joints are definitely shot. Alignment shop should have caught that. And the puddle under the Jeep is antifreeze coming from the drivers side of the motor. I can't tell if it's coming from the thermostat or just below it. It feels like the lower radiator hose guess into the side of the...

New to me Jeep and steering issues, please help.

Well I've been out this morning to do some more checking and when jacking it up this time I heard some popping and looked closer and both upper and lower ball joints in the front have the boots torn. No slack in them when I move the wheel. Also another great surprise was a puddle underneath it...

    New to the forum

Hey all. New to the forum. I have owned 2 Liberty's in the past, a 2007 and a 2012, and I just purchased a 2005 2.4L, 4x4, Manual transmission Liberty. Body is in good condition with no rust, which is amazing considering I live in the salt belt. Has a lot more problems that I have uncovered...

New to me Jeep and steering issues, please help.

Hey guys, new to the forum, but not new to Liberty's. I recently purchased a 2005 Liberty Sport with the 2.4L and manual transmission, 4x4 with 162k miles. When I purchased it I noticed the handling/steering of the Jeep seemed off compared to others I have owned, but noticed the front wheels...
