    KK Liberty Big Brake Kit

I regeared to 4.88 for these tires, gives it decent performance off the line and reasonable rpm on the highway for these tires

    KK Liberty Big Brake Kit

Not yet, There is a larger master cylinder available from the J8, but I've also seen reports that the Liberty/Nitro master cylinder has a larger bore than the JKs. There was a bit of cutting to fit these tires, the pinch weld is a massive pain on these Liberties

    KK Liberty Big Brake Kit

I've found a big brake kit that works for the Liberty, and I wanted to share my findings and part numbers with you all. It uses Dual Piston calipers from a Ram 1500, specialty brackets from a JK Wrangler Big Brake Kit, and rotors from the BR6 heavy duty brake option for export KK Liberties. I...

    New Keys

I've gotten my local home depot to cut a aftermarket key by convincing the guy working it to follow my instructions, your mileage may vary Had him select on the automated machine to cut a non transponder plain metal key, but when it asked him to insert the blank I had him put in my aftermarket...

    Power steering pump options

While I can't recommend a different pump, I do have the specs for our pump out of the factory service manual that may be of some help. I would think they will have similar relief valve psi ratings, put may have a higher flow rate And yes, the stock power steering racks are weak. I've blown out...

    Wheel bearing dead

Does the noise change if you ever so slightly press the accelerator? I have the opposite problem, when I give it the tiniest bit of power it hums, and goes away when I let off. Is it the same noise regardless of engine RPM? Try 3 vs 4th gear, if it's the same pitch / tone, and engine RPM doesn't...

    Wheel bearing dead

Goodness, this makes me grateful to live in Texas. I undid my three hub bolts and the hub literally fell out of the spindle after 140k miles and 10 years....

    KK Power seats shift

I have the same issue, it's aggravating to say the least. I had my seats out this weekend and it seemed that all the play was in the seat track mechanism, but I didn't have time to tear it down any further and try and diagnose. I couldn't tell if it was backlash in the motor mechanism, or from...

    Gears for my KK

Here's a photo of my most recent trip https://photos.app.goo.gl/5id5FfbJkjG3GWHF6 The CVs and Diff haven't given me any issues yet, but I did kill a steering rack, Doing gears isn't easy, but it also isn't the voodoo nightmare that everyone makes it out to be. You'll need some good tools...

    Bad radiator?

That's what I did as well. Not a hard job once you pull the fan shroud out the way. I also find it easiest to remove the battery and air intake to gain easier access to the bolts

    Bad radiator?

I would throw in a new thermostat and flush the heater core while you have it all apart. Keep an eye on your water pump replacement, I replaced mine when I changed my radiator, and the aftermarket replacement started weeping on me, when the OEM one hadn't given me any issues yet

    Gears for my KK

I installed 4.88 gears when I had 31.6"(265/65/18) tires, in preparation for my new 34s (305/70/17). It was a little overgeared on the older tires, but it drove well and was manageable, I would think that 4.56s would suit that size tire well. I used Yukon install kits for the front and rear...

    Gears for bigger tire.

One thing to keep in mind is that in 04 or 05 the Chysler 8.25 changed from SAE to Metric ring gear bolts. Some ring and pinions for the Chrysler 8.25 are not double drilled for both SAE and Metric ring gear bolts. However, you can run SAE ring gear bolts instead, you just need to order an...
