Thanks again for all the replies. Had another look at it yesterday and some of the heater (I think!) pipes are wet so I’m wondering if something has come loose somewhere with the matrix bypass pipe work. Will be going to garage end of this week so hopefully they will get to the bottom of it...

The wheels do move lock to lock when sitting and it has been looked at underneath, no sign of anything broken but it is getting dark now so hard to see. Currently waiting for breakdown service to send someone out to it. Just thought I’d see how much this might cost in the mean time.

Thanks for the response. I have not checked the fuses myself but just had a quick look at the manual and it states the front power outlet should have a 20amp fuse and the heater I have apparently requires 12.5 amps. This is possibly a stupid question but how do I find out if anything else is...

No more coolant appears to have vanished (yet) however we now have an awful curry/spice smell coming from the vents when the heat/air con is turned on so I am assuming heater core is busted? Cannot find anyone local to me that is even willing to do this job, gutted if I have to get rid of it...
