    OscarMike/Howard Hughes Liberty Concept

Thanks for the name idea. Lol. And don't worry, I haven't stopped, just took an extended break. I'll probably start back at it later this summer.

What did you do while installing your radio to fry your gauge cluster??

Rock Lizard full length roof rack with led light bar

Can't imagine why the black kj changed his mind, it's such a nice rack.

    Cherosaurus Rex's Photoshoot... FINALLY

I like the looks of it, but to me it shouldn't be called a Cherokee. It just looks like a lifted car, not an suv ( or even a crossover). But maybe that's just me.

Looking at a few KJ's and need some advice

I think you can do a little better. For perspective I bought my 06 "OscarMike" renegade two years ago for $6,700 with 80,000 miles. No scratches, no dents, no rust - except on the rock rails which I took off. Of course the market changes a bit geographically but I'd keep looking.

What's kicking around in your Jeep?

I have most of what you listed, but also wouldn't go without a tire inflater, electric jumper, and wipes for windows and cleanups.

I'll post new stuff soon. Things are in the works but not finished.

2007 Jeep Liberty rumble strip noise at 45-50 miles an hour.

Thanks Constance. :-). And nice to see another Michigander here! I recognized the Garber/Bay rd reference. Lol

Grill guard / front bumper upgrade

If you're gonna do it I'd go with the matrix. It doesn't cover up too much and it's not too ugly.

    Hood idea

Sounds like a clever design. Kudos!

    Emblem

You can keep it simple and use the same stuff to paint your rims! There are all kinds of YouTube instructional videos to help. :-)

    Isn't 03 between 01-04?

Grill guard / front bumper upgrade

Personally I'm not a fan of anything that covers up the grill. Why buy a jeep and then hide those iconic 7 slits?! Lol. But my opinion is based on looks alone not function. And i've put time and money into making my grill stand out.

    Emblem

It's pretty easy. And that stuff is more forgiving than paint. The plasti dip is a little tougher brand, but some, myself included, like the look of the Duplicolor custom wrap a little better. Rustoleum makes the Peal Coat brand too. Buy some and try it on something! :-)

    New here

    Second that! :-)

I've seen them on eBay. :-). Or you could use Plastidip, Duplicolor Custom Wrap, or any of the spray on removable aerosole rubber paints to color your badges.

    03 Liberty Interior parts

Sorry, I guess I used a pour choice of words in that last sentence - instead of saying "you'd never know", what I meant was that "someone" might not know until they got in an accident. Not you specifically. Nothing I said was personal.

    03 Liberty Interior parts

I believe I was told, or I read, that you had to disconnect the battery when doing that, and the airbag system had to be reprogramed. Of course you'd probably never know for sure unless you got into an accident after. Lol
