changed my gearbox today, and changed oil + filter, however it is quite harsh changing from 1st to 2nd after that it runs very smooth, is there anything else i need to do, do i need to get the box calibrated. thanks phil

thanks for that, i thought they must be worn, i will get some new springs a shocks, my kj has got just over 105,000 miles, what shocks a springs could you recomend, remember i am over in the uk so may not be able to the same standard as in the states phil

i have just put 120kg in the back of my kj and the towbar dropped down 26mm, does this sound about right or are my springs loosing strength thanks phil

i had this problem on mine the same pulley, all i done was take the pulley off, knocked the old bearing out and just replaced the bearing total cost was £3.50p compaired to £48 for replacement pulley phil

as title says when at idle in park rpm is usually about 700rpm but today was parked up and the rpm started to rise and fall from 700rpm up to 1200rpm the back down again, it done to over and over until i drove off, then parked up again it started doing it again, any advice would be great...

when filling up with fuel it the pump keeps cutting out as if the fuel tank hole cant take the fuel quick enough, is there some kind of breather pipe that can get blocked or is this normal, takes ages to fill the jeep up phil

it worked on mine without resetting trip metre, codes were p0700, p0113, p0123, found out what they were, basicly it was where i had been cleaning around the throttle body and reparing the last problem, it was the wiring in the 3 plugs was loose, all sorted now, and no more codes. thanks...
