When I last changed my oil in my 2007 Liberty LE, I noticed all grease cups and bushings were crap, so I ordered the front suspension kit from 1A Auto (new upper/lower control arms, tie rod ends, sway bar links, ball joints). Key stuck in ignition (and the fix)
FIXED!!! And FOR LESS THAN $3.00!!! So, I went to Lowes' and purchased a package of springs (Hillman#543311, 2 pack. Found in the same aisle as screws, and the specialty hardware drawers). The spring is a 5/16" x 1-1/8"x .023" Extension Spring. It has a standard "U" shaped "hook" style...- mprice62

Key stuck in ignition (and the fix)
I am having the same issue with my wife's new-to-us 2002 Liberty. I am going to try to install a spring that will assist the cable with that last 1/8" of travel.- mprice62
