Ya like I say I did hit it hard with WD-40 so maybe it got into / under the cap of the cv and is getting spun out??

Hey Leeann any diff fluid in the front yoke when u got the driveshaft out?

@ 1 badkj. So u think the seal is fine and that I just need to put some rtv on the threads?

If I am getting diff fluid inside the yoke would this be do to a bad pinion seal or is it just coming up the threads ?

So I dried it off in my first picture drove 15 km. kept it under 80 and still dry. Hit the highway an drive another 15 km. at 100 kph. And it looks like this.

I recently remove the front drive shaft to change the CV on the TC end. When I removed the drive shaft from the front diff yoke there was maybe 1-2 tbsp. diff fluid that came out of the yoke. I have been told this is normal but how/why? So now it almost seem like it is leaking inside that yoke...

On the transfer case end the yoke actually has little notches that u can tap a screw driver in to seperate the joint and the yoke. Or there are also holes on the back side of the yoke. Once I got the TC side free rest it ontop o the TC and work on the diff end. I had to use a pipe wrench to...

Wow what a fight but I got it out. So should I use lock tite on the bolts when input it back together?

Ya tried that. No luck. Now I have diff fluid coming out of the bolt hole. Is this normal?

Grrrr. Can't get it loose from the front yolk. Tips?

One more question. What is this yellow stripe painted on the CV's. at both ends. And since I will be replacing the cv at the transfer case will I have to alline these marks or get the drive shaft balanced. ??
