what is this part---just finished ignition switch actuator pin replacement
Does it fit into the old actuator? I swore it was part of the actuator assembly and not needed if you buy a new one. I could be wrong. What teeje said, but with a pretty pic.- jdawgl

Did you pull out the newly installed actuator pin and compare? I tried finding my old,broken pin but might have thrown it away. I am checking some electrical issues around the steering column this weekend, so I'll take a look at the actuator pin again if you are still stumped. It seems I...- jdawgl

2005 Jeep Liberty WONT START , dash accessories dont light up
The ignition switch actuator pin on my 2004 KJ went out last year. Looks like this Autozone link. I used this pin from autozone and it actually seats a little funny and I have to adjust it once a week, but that could be caused by the missing bolts in my assembly (crappy mechanic job). Heating problems
You said any help so I'll chime in. I recently encountered this heater issue. It may seem elementary, but my coolant level was low. The orange tint to the coolant tank does not help the matter. I had to shake the tank and stick a flashlight against it. Old vehicle, whatcha gonna do :33:
