I have been looking for this part, but the only people who seem to have it is the dealership and they are bringing it in from the US?? Does anyone know if this is a "dealer only" part or is there somewhere I can order it online, hopefully for less than the $190 Jeep wants to charge me?

My concern is that I want to know of any other issues before they are huge problems. The EGR definately needs to go... it's now a matter of deciding which option is better SEGR or disconnecting and investing in some type of code reader if the CEL will always be on.

Does it read ABS codes? Thinking about getting one... any thoughts from 06 Liberty CRD owners that have them?

So, how do I get my hands on an SEGR? Cost? And how hard are they to install? I am NOT a mechanic, but trying to learn and do as much as possible myself, as you may be able to tell from so many questions that are likely straight forward for most haha The more info the better, thanks all

When I had my TDI I was told by a vw tech that I could get away with going a bit longer between oil changes, due to my driving habits. I put at least 120kms on my vehicle daily 98% hwy, so it only takes 5-6 weeks to hit the 5000km mark... Can I get away with changing the oil in my liberty crd...

So I cleaned the map/boost sensor, which had MASSIVE amounts of soot (no oil) on it. It turned out ok, after cleaning it, but I am going to replace it anyway cause it didn't come as clean as it likely should. I plan to go the SEGR route eventually but is there anything else that should be...

I read the codes again yesterday and 401 is the only one coming up now, so I think I am on the right track!

unplugging the maf will cause the CEL to stay on won't it? This is my daily driver that I put 120kms on daily just to get to and from work, so I would really rather have the CEL functioning so I can catch any other issues before it's too late... I'm thinking SEGR

I recently bought an 06 liberty CRD and I've had the ESP, traction control & ABS lights coming on sometimes. They always come on together but never stay on for more than a trip or two, but it's been happening on and off for a couple weeks. Any thoughts?
