CRD increase in oil consumption
2006 CRD, engine with less then 100,000KM. Increase in oil consumption, also have noticed more black smoke when stepping on it at low engine speed ( coincidence?). 1 liter per 1000KM Any thoughts are appreciated.- molenaar

Alternator clutch and belt tensinoner issues???
What is the purpose of the pulley clutch? I currently do have a "noisy" belt. When the AC comp kicks in at idle it seems to "sqeek". Removed the belt tension, AC clutch bearing is OK, AC compressor is not running heavy and AC pressures ar normal. At any speed above idle the nois goes away. Belt...- molenaar

airbag control module issues!!! Added leather seats.
How did you make out with the airbag light , I have a similar issue with 06CRD, only dash airbag light is still on. Still need to hook up the heated seats. Any help appreciated- molenaar

Air Bag light on - Switched the seat out
Did we find the seat belt switch on the driver side? I have a similar issue, replaced cloth seats in 2006CRD with power leather. Air bag light is on. Any help is appreciated- molenaar
