    removing transfer case

    I am replacing a automatic transmission in a 2004 Liberty and need to remove the transfer case from old trans to put on new one. I have removed 6 external bolts from xfer case but still will not come off. Is there anyway to avoid cracking the xfer case to remove it or am I missing something?
