4x4 light in instrument cluster works backward
OK, I have a 2002 Liberty V6. When the transfer case is in 2WD for normal driving, the "Part Time" light in the instrument panel is on all the time. When I engage 4x4 Hi, the "Part Time" light goes completely out, but 4x4 works fine. If I engage 4x4 Low, then the separate 4 Lo lamp comes on...- troverman

Buying a 2002 - need advice on issues and what to look for
I looked at a 2002 Liberty 3.7 auto 4x4 yesterday with 130k miles on it. Good price, in decent shape, underside seems clean. It drove down the road pretty well, smooth shifts, smooth engine, heat and air work, all windows, locks, mirrors, radio, etc work. I'm new to these Jeeps, but not new...- troverman

'03 Liberty hot heat passenger side, cold drivers side
Hi, Working on a friend's 2003 Liberty 3.7L...initially it only blew basically cold air despite the control being on full hot.
