Second set of CV axles after lift

I've sat at 4 inches on my original CV's for over 20K now with no issues. Napa re-manned units will be the replacements when the time comes.

What did you do to your jeep today?

A setup that wasn't hacked together or just a spacer lift I imagine.:happy175: I already swayed a guy here that has a spacer lift on his KJ. He came up to me after he saw mine parked next to his with mine sitting higher. The day he orders his better components I offered to help put...

    Rear Passenger Window

I didn't see the part where you said it was still able to go down. The bracket piece that holds onto the window itself is typically what breaks on the KJ because it is a plastic piece. Most just replace it with a quality metal piece so you don't have to worry about that part breaking again. I...

    Rear Passenger Window

Either the motor or the bracket piece that is attached to the window is broken. Pop the panel off and take a gander in there.

Streaks of black stuff on front wheel covers

To be on the safe side I wouldn't drive it. Get it replaced as soon as you can.

    Hood idea

Go ahead and go for it. I went the easy way and just swapped hoods with someone that already had the hood louvers installed. It made a difference in cooling and my a/c runs a bit cooler now.

    Filling gas tank

The problem lies with the flapper valve. You can put in a GM part that resolves the issue. Here's a thread with a good write-up on how to resolve it. http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/f202/how-fix-kj-fuel-burp-plague-57056/

Tune up - Best parts (Newcomer)

For the spark plugs use NGK. The coils, just stick with MOPAR. Most parts of the KJ are better with MOPAR as far as the preventative maintenance goes.

Welcome. Well you already have one of the bigger $ items on it already so that's good(ARB Bumper).

What did you do to your jeep today?

Most likely the plastic bracket that attaches to the window broke. Replace it with a good metal piece and you won't have to worry about fixing that part again.
