2003 Jeep Liberty Driver Side Window Issue

^^Ditto on removing the panel to see what's going on before ordering parts. You don't won't to order stuff you don't need.

Nice burnout but he was better off not doing it in the first place.

2003 Jeep Liberty Driver Side Window Issue

Sounds like the bracket piece might be on it's way out. I'd try replacing it with the metal one before replacing the motor.

Best Highway Tire For Two Trackin? Wrangler SR-A's?

I'd reccomend the Falken Wild Peak AT3W's also. I've driven on them in a friend's first gen Tundra. The traction was great on road in the wet and did really well on the muddy back roads going to the deer blind. The road noise was a lot less than the wrangler duratracs I have my on my KJ right...

You don't have to sweat taking off the front driveshaft. It is 6 bolts on the front and on the rear. I replaced mine with a brand new one bc I was able to find a good price on a new one by chance. Even so re-building the rear part of it isn't that bad. My new front driveshaft came with alan...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Was it not driveable even with taking out the front driveshaft? It really isn't too bad a job. Tools and a second set of hands are what made that job easier for me. Oh and having it on a lift was nice too.

What did you do to your jeep today?

Hopefully you receive yours faster than mine. I had to get mine from another store bc the clowns at my normal store couldn't get the right part in.

Troubleshoot a bit further. Take out the front driveshaft and see if you still have the noise. If it ends up being the driver side cv axle it isn't as time consuming as the passenger side cv axle.

What did you do to your jeep today?

I replaced (with help from a fellow shipmate) the passenger side cv axle and intermediate shaft. That was the most challenging task thus far with the Liberty that I've done but I learned a lot. Putting the front driveshaft back in was cake. It felt great to do the repair and have everything...

    Another recall

Yeah I received my letter yesterday. I'll take the free parts since it will save me the trouble of doing it.

What did you do to your jeep today?

Ordered all associated parts to repair the passenger side cv. Also ordering a whole new front driveshaft. I felt like being lazy this time and just getting the whole unit instead of rebuilding the rear part.

Need advice, changing one front UCA bushing bolt

I'd definitely go the route of supporting the lower and just popping the upper ball joint loose. It's quicker and you have less to bolt back up after you've got the upper a arm bolted back in.

Help to remove the front drive shaft

I just did this today. It really wasn't bad at all. I used a large flathead screwdriver to pop the rear part loose after everything was unbolted. Like already said just move the rear part up into that small empty space and pull back to pop the front part out. After that you just pull the...

    JBA 4-link

I've seen more people get the bolt-on since it has been available. You only need to measure and cut the ends so everything lines up right. Here is a link to a how-to Tom did on his.http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/f202/installing-jba-bolt-tri-angulated-4-link-62052/

That switch is super easy to change from underneath the Jeep. It took me about 10 minutes to swap the old one out for the new one.
