Throttle back a sec Tom.:happy175: I had them on there when the stock wheels were on so it wouldn't rub the sway bar for state inspection. I only put the MOAB's on there with them for s*ts and giggles. It looks superb the way it sits now....without them.
Stopped by the hobby shop on base and took the spacers off. MOAB´s look much better with them off even though the guys at work loved how it looked with the spacers on. They aren't the ones paying my maintenance bills.:gr_grin: I'll take pics tomorrow after the rain passes.
I've had this tire on my buy list for a long time and will get them once my Duratracs are finally done. I drove a friend's Tundra that has them and I liked them a lot.
They are the smooth style. They even still have the manufacture date. I saw it when we were swapping tires. I'll sell my wheels along with the tires that came on the MOAB´s. One of the tires was a spare and never used. The other four have 50% tread left on em. They look similar to Duratracs.
Finally, after years of trying and coming so close I was able to find a full set of 5 MOAB´s!:head3::Rock on: Sorry I haven't been on here in a while. Life threw me a loss of a loved one but time and family/friends have helped get me through it.
Those are different but I'm digging them. I definitely noticed a difference with mine during the summer. My a/c put out colder air after having them. It's also cool to see all the hot air coming out of them during the winter.
Let it rest in it's parking space. We did a round trip to Texas. It got really good gas mileage on the way back (22mpg). The Jeep will get an oil change next weekend, along with some other tlc.
Yup you definitely need to get the new bumpstops put in. The front and back are both pretty easy. A little bit of dish soap and a 2x4 make the fronts easy to pop in. The back is cake as well. Scroll down towards the bottom of the link and you'll see where the perch was drilled. Bolt the 2...
Has anyone seen/used these yet? I'm considering going with these on my JBA Upper A-arms instead of the MOOG ones.
