    V8 Liberty

If you're serious about it, and have the $$$, call up B&G. They have Hemi conversion flashes for the 5.7 and 6.1 now. It's not going to be a bolt in, but should be possible. I almost swapped a 4.7 HO in mine when it was at Profinish-Proglass. It was sitting right there, but I didn't want to be...

    Factory limited slip swap

I just had the factory LSD replaced with a DTT. The factory LSD had broken at 75k miles and damaged the pinion bearing. The difference is huge. I would highly recommend getting the DTT even though it's a higher cost. I wish I had gone to it years ago.

    Crustys 2.5" lift

I have the Frankenlift II Premium with OME 927's in the front and the 948's in the rear with an extra set of isolators. OME struts up front, and long travel shocks in the rear. I have a brush guard and lights on the front that adds about 50 lbs. I really like the setup. It rides really well, and...

    bought a JET chip.

Stay away from the Stage 1. I've actully dyno'd it unlike Jet, and you won't like the results. I haven't dyno'd the Stage 2, but would think that it could help a little at certain RPMs. I've heard this from people with seat of the pants experience, but I've never heard of anyone doing dyno...

    struts and shocks without lift

The Monroe's did perform on road well, but it's true that they don't last very long. Less than 3 years on mine and the fronts were about shot.

    struts and shocks without lift

I had the Sensa Tracs before the lift. They handled much better than stock.

    Detroit TT question

OK, so far there is no comparison between the DTT and trashlock in the rain. The DTT works MUCH better. Hopefully I can make it out to the farm to play in a little mud tomorrow.

    Hello from KY

I love the Quik Detailer. Don't forget about the BM titanium matte tire finish and the 32 oz small batch Knob Creek and Coke in a polar pop cup.:D The bumpers, fenders, and bottom half of the doors are Line-X Xtra'd with color matched. The brush guard, mud flaps, sliders, and step on the rear...

    Tranny question

If you'd rather fix it than live with it, call APS Precision and talk to Wayne. Talk to him about an upgraded torque converter and shift correction kit. He hooked me up with a custom torque converter and shift kit that made a world of difference in my '02 with the 45RFE. APS has good stuff for...

    Detroit TT question

Got my Jeep back today. The factory trashloc had actually come apart partially and damaged the pinion bearing. That's the bearing problem I was hearing and had just started to feel. So far, the DTT behaves extremely well on dry ground while cornering. Can't even tell it's there. It seems to hook...

    Detroit TT question

It was $499. I got it here. http://completeoffroad.com/i-125416-truetrac-posi-chrysler-8-25-tt-912a553-29-spline.html I'm having the factory LSD removed, the DTT installed, the axle shafts replaced with Yukon HD's, replacing the diff cover with a Riddler, and new bearings, seals, u-joints...

    hood scoop

The original had a smaller hole that would match up to the stock intake if you cut off the top curve and then extended it. It was originally planned to be finished into a true ram air. On mine, it was cut open larger while I was there since a had a K&N FIPK. It worked so well that it became the...

    Detroit TT question

Shouldn't be long before the dry and rain cornering and handling will be tested. If it is nice and wet on a weekend I'll try to get out to the farm for a little off road test. This is KY, so the snow and ice report is going to take a little while.

    hood scoop

Comes in through the scoop. Out through an opening right above the cone filter. And into the cone.

Hey, just joined this forum, but I've been on a couple others for a while now. Here's a few pics of my Liberty.

    Detroit TT question

I'm getting the rear end rebuilt next week. The factory LSD is coming out and a DTT is going in. I'll let you know how it goes.

    hood scoop

I would recommend the Suncoast. It's the hood designed by Profinish-Proglass. Mine is holding up very well with over 4 years on it. Here is the original that was made for a SEMA show. Here is the 2nd one before I got it lifted. After lift and other goodies.
