2014 Cherokee Trail Hawk Git a text message from sales dude, telling me he checked and said its supposed to be shipping out of Detroit on 1/21. Interesting in that it is still in "production scheduled" status in VOTS. Ordered 4 weeks ago on Monday last. It'll get here when it gets here!- al7fi

Blinker problem
As stated here, , if your checking your sockets to find if you have voltage present, you want your multi meter set to check volts DC. As stated previously, to check your bulb filaments to see if they are good, set the multimeter on ohms. You are looking for continuity tween the base (shell)...- al7fi

Starter problems
Try old AMC Cherokees. Parts from everybody. My 74 had delco ignition, Motorcraft 2 bl carb, power steering by GM, Tranny by GM ,can't remember who made the alternator. Tons of fun.- al7fi

Block heater operation
No harm in leaving it plugged in as long as you want (other than increase in electric bill). It will not blow "heat" instantly but it will be a tad swarmer than if you di not have it plugged in. You will get a warm engine a lot quicker with to. I have never had to use a charger trickle...- al7fi

Up here folks usually plug in below 20F 2 hours before time works well. Sure makes a difference when it gets to sub zero. Warms up lots quicker too! I do leave mine in longer when its not expected to get above 0. Have an outside duplex outlet switched in the garage . Timer would be...- al7fi

Blinker problem
Have you checked all your dual filament bulbs out? Reason I ask is I had the rapid flash symptom and "thought " the left front was working and so suspected the repeater bulb. Come to find out if the repeater bulb is working it can make the dual filament lens look like its working (flashing)...- al7fi
