How will I know if the seafoam made it through the system, as I suspect I have an oil pressure problem... Is it going to smoke out the exhaust just like it would from pouring it into a vacuum hose or intake?
I assume that could cause a problem, lol... I have changed my oil religiously like I'm supposed to. Do I need to look at the oil pump to see if it is clogged or something? What else needs to be looked at due to this issue? Also, is there a recommended way to removing it from the entire engine...

Can we just delete this damn thread and I'll start a new one that MIGHT just MIGHT give me the answers I need... I mean seriously... Why is Jeepkj.com even here? It's for people like me AND everybody else to find answers, get help, GIVE help, learn about new stuff, tell/show people about new...
Oil still looks pretty new... not milky, not gritty... just looks completely normal...
Oil was just changed 2500 miles ago at a shop without having ANY of these problems!
This is post #1 and if you read post #13, I quoted... POST #1 for you... and again now... bolded... for YOU to see... I don't like people telling me I'm not capable of doing something... LET ME TRY... I have another car anyway... I just want to learn... thanks if you have anything I can use though.
I don't plan on pulling the clips off the valve stem, just compressing the springs to see if the valve stem slides down on its own as the spring is compressed... and if I need to change the spring, I know to hook up an air compressor to the chamber, and the position of the crankshaft and such...
These symptoms may not relate to the camshaft/valve springs/valves/lash adjusters and so on... BUT they are symptoms of the vehicle as a WHOLE... I'm not just trying to fix one thing on it... I'm trying to fix the WHOLE thing... and while it is apart, I would hate to put it back together just to...
and this is why I didn't believe it to be a fuel grade problem... In terms of removing the head, I don't believe this is necessary... the lash adjuster slides right back in, I have a vehicle specific tool being shipped from miller tools to compress the valve spring with the head still in the...
Let's update and hopefully get BACK on track... the valve IS an exhaust valve... The chip has already been removed since Troy told me that the performance chip requires a higher octane fuel, even though the company states it does not(it's a stage I btw). But none the less, I took it out when he...
What a bunch of winners out here... Love the Seinfeld jokes btw... excuse me for the questions, but everyone has to learn somewhere...
Instead of patronizing me, "ShadowedXistence thinks ThunderbirdJunkie needs to read the post!"
I've read posts about lifter noise. Wasn't sure what that was...
Pulled the cover off the passenger side camshaft...
Rocker arm had completely fallen off of cylinder 4 (the rocker arm closest to the firewall for cylinder 4, I think it's an exhaust valve?). I know there is a reason for this; could it be oil pressure? I have had code 0522(low oil pressure...
I agree, the kj is much better looking than the kk, but I think the kk headlights look real sharp. Also I like how the hood is flatter. The hood on the kj drops off on the front end reminding me of the rav4. I think the flatter kk hood plus the lights would make the front of the kj look more...
Tony CRD brings up a good question...
...Does anybody have the answer?
I love the front lights on the KKs, don't know if the fenders will flow well with the rest of the KJ body though... I like the rear on the KJ, the KK looks kinda tall and bulky for the wheel base and tires that could...
