I have the in-channels and they look a lot better than the external stick ons IMO. The external sticks ons don't blend into the vehicles body like the in-channels do.
A lot of people also complain about the in-channels not covering the solid section of the window on the back doors BUT why put...
Usually running the engine while the gas cap is off can cause problems b/c the tank pressurizes for the fuel pump to work properly.
Some one stole my gas cap on my work van a few months ago. It had a fuel tank when it happened so I didn't know right away but once the tank was half empty the...
Have you tried another pump or another station? I had it where some pumps flow faster than others and it would kick off every few seconds. Like Ry said try pumping slower. Also, dont shove the nozzle all the way in. Try backing it off a 1/2 inch or so. This one usually works for me.
I run mobile 1 full Synth in the motor. Helps out greatly with the yellow sluge that appears in the oil fill tube due to moisture and short trips. I change it out every 6 months (March and September). I barely put 4000 a year on. I could probably go once a year with an oil change if I wanted but...
I thought I had bad wheel hub on my jeep earlier this year. but it turned out to be my Wrangler SR-A's making all the noise. They had about 35-37K on them when I started to notice the noise. I rotated them and the noises was just about gone. Just a low hint of it b/c the treads where bad on all...
Since you got a 06 model. I would stick with one that says 05 to 07. The cargo cover will actually work in several Jeep models (not sure how many). My father has an 05 liberty w/cargo cover, my wife has a 07 Compass w/ cargo cover and there identical in every way b/c I've used both of them in my...
Most Likely the blower mower resistor like said above. I replaced one on my wifes Liberty two years ago. 1st speed 1 one stopped working then two then three.
It's a 15 dollar part from Advance auto. 20 or so minutes to replace it.
Just pop the door cover off. I believe there is a thin metal rod extending from the door latch to the inside door handle.
If its connected properly then you will have to disconnect it to completely remove the cover. If it's not connected then you know whats wrong.
That would be a good place to...
Hey, I just got my first recall for the rear lower control arms today. It's states the issue on 04-05 KJs and displays my vin number as being one of the KJs with the faulty arms. However, I have a 06 model that was built in April of that same year. Has anyone else received a recall noticed for a...
I just picked up a pair of BFGoodRich Rugged Terrain T/As. They got a nice tread pattern that extends down to the side wall. They get a little noisy between 50-60mph but thats about it. I spent about $700 for a set of 5 from tirerack.com.
My sisters boyfriend owns a garage so mounting and...
If it's listed in Km then that's about 71,500 Miles. Average mileage for a 5 to 6 year old Vehicle. To check it I would ask for a picture of the Instrument cluster.
Just remember if you switch out the flares to the renegade version you may have to paint them. 02-04 where painted. 05-07 were not.
I say "may" have to paint them because the flares on the 02-04 renegade where painted to match the body paint. However, the 02-04 renegade flares also came on...
My wife's 02 KJ had keyholes on both front doors and the tailgate. She also had keyless entry as well. We bought her's used. Her Jeep could have been a special build through b/c it had everything a limited model would have except the evic but it was a sport model. The KJ was also a...
You don't need to pull any fuses for that. Remove the screw in the cubie hole at the bottom( or behind ash tray depending on the year of KJ) and run a credit card along the edit of the trim to pop it off. Then disconnect the cigar lighter. Also putting the tranny in 1st gear and t-case in...
