    skyjeep is correct. of course it's the reason why my compressor clutch died at 90k miles. I now just unplug the clutch when the colder months come. also prevents the evaporator from freezing over in the winter, thereby denying me any HEAT in the passenger compartment!

    that's the state i'm in now. i've thought of turning tpms on, then removing the damn bulb from the cluster! or if i could find a way to factory wipe/reset the SKREEM/WIM maybe I can solve it?

    I've now got a possible donor to put a 242 in place of my 241. the tape measure will be heavily used soon enough. that and a hunt for a teraflex 2LO kit for it.

    think I found the problem. got the rocker reinstalled. once I figured out how, it was easy enough. hardest part was getting the damn valve cover off. everything's back in, except for the one part I broke, and i'm gluing back together now. (vac line that goes to the oil fill toob.)

    I'm struggling between the widlpeaks, or some michelin crossclimate 2. yes the latter isn't an offroad tire, but damn they're getting amazing reviews from the bigger SUV crowd.

    it looked fine. and I swapped it to #4 and there was no misfire from that. also swapped plugs so I confirmed it wasn't either of those. and I won't run it long enough to get it to warm up; makes a really NOT GOOD clink/tink sound from that bank that easily could be the rocker arm getting banged...

    I was recently told that I only needed 4 spark plugs for a vehicle I have with a v6 in it. the counter monkey refused to believe me that my car had a v6. his COMPUTER said it was a 4 cylinder, so that HAD to be right.
