Replaced upstream O2 sensors and charcoal canister. Fixed leaky differential gasket. Another new gas cap (gasket split AGAIN). Reset CEL. Good to know. Mine are just enhanced "Night vision" halogen bulbs. I like how bright they are down the road. Lots of junk from blown out tires in the driving lanes here in AZ in the summer. Have learned to live with the shadow...- desertdriver

Would be interested in how you like the headlights. I installed TYC in my 2005 a couple years back and they resulted in a "dark zone" in front of the vehicle although they are supposedly correctly aligned... I don't think I am blinding anyone at night (no one has ever flashed high beams at me)...- desertdriver

I will definitely do the upstream sensors. NTK is what I used for the downstream sensors and have not had any more codes related to them since the replacement. Well, 460 miles later and engine light is still off! Uphill sections climbing from sea level to 4,000 ft. were a struggle and I ended up turning OD off and that improved things considerably. How long did your 42RLE automatic transmission last before it blew up?
My KJ has had a pretty easy life, lol. It's all stock. A/T tires but not oversized. Not much towing. I commuted long-distance on the freeway daily for 12 years so not much stress and strain except for driving in the extreme summer heat and dust here.- desertdriver

I can't vote since mine hasn't blown up. But it's at 279,000 miles so far - mostly highway but definitely some Forest Service road miles as well.
