i'm pretty sure HID highbeams aren't illegal. there are many cars that come with bi-xenon projectors that have high and low beams in the same projector, it just moves a shield internally to let more light out above the cutoff.- staindvans

HID kits are dangerous, they glare like crazy into oncoming traffic. i just retrofitted projectors designed for HID use into my headlights it was a decent sized project but i dont' glare light up into peoples eyes and i get the benefit of better lighting...- staindvans

brake caliper slides
yes i mean the slides, the top one slides hardly, to the point that i wouldn't call it sliding even. the bottom one slides just like its supposed to. i spun the wheel without the brakes on and it spun nice and smooth. then i put the brakes back on, built pressure up in them and spun them again...- staindvans

brake caliper slides
has anyone else had problems with the top caliper slides sticking? even fresh new ones with new rubber sleeves on them don't seem to move nearly as freely as the lower slides do. is there a special brake lube i should be using? can i use them without the rubber sleeve on the end? any help would...- staindvans

i used motorcraft copper plugs gapped at .40. hows does one clean the throttle body and the iac? maybe ill try new plugs as well maybe i messed them up.- staindvans

4 wheel drive question
This could be the stupidest question i'll ever ask here but her it goes. When you pull the lever up to the 4hi position is it in 4 wheel drive as soon as you pull it up or does it take a couple of tire revolutions before its engaged? i've always wondered this but felt to stupid to ask until...- staindvans

Steering noise?

i would just get the Sylvania x-tra vision bulbs. they are brighter than standard bulbs, none of the bs blue coating thats supposed to make the bulbs brighter (whiter yes brighter no). they are also fairly inexpensive.- staindvans
