So essentially, there's no way to actually activate the factory red light within the instrument cluster? It appears that it doesn't light up when I look the doors prior to closing them either. I found the Mopar alarm EVS I (82209700AB) system, but that states that a light will be blinking...- Lizzys07Liberty

Damn wanna-be thief!
Thanks all for the encouraging words. I, too, am glad they didn't actually steal it. The most aggravating aspect of the whole thing, aside from the obvious damage, which can be fixed, is attempting to understand people who do this kind of stuff to other people. Damn wanna-be thief!
Well, within three weeks of owning the Liberty...somebody attempted to rip it off last night. On the good side, they so-called thieves were amateurs and didn't managed the steal it. On the bad side, they attempted to pry off the drivers' side door handle (I'm assuming to break the lock?)...so...- Lizzys07Liberty
