anyone running LT 10 ply tires on their ride

I just looked at the yokohama's in a 255/70 . s.w. 10.2, tread width 8.0, o.d. 31.3. these are a passenger tire, much higher load rating than original HP's. what r the chances of getting these under a OME lift with factory wheels ?

anyone running LT 10 ply tires on their ride

ya , im not liking what the tire dealer said about it being bumpy. but both the duratrac245/70 and yokohama 245/70 are both load range E, and thise were choices #1 and #2 respectively.

anyone running LT 10 ply tires on their ride

thanks for all the quick replies . u know , my first car was a cj-7 and the first thing i did to it was replace the 235/75/15 wrangler's with 31x10.5 super diggers and remember thinking how much greater the thing cornered. (did not change any suspension bits). i bet those were LT tires. if...

    Rustys

OME coils seems to be the preferred route, for improved ride and handling as well as lift, u will spend more money though, roughly $305 for the coils.

    OME/Bilstein lift

Ive been reading ur thread about your lift install, ur jeep looks great. and your tires, surprisingly dont look too small, i see people been bugging u that u need some man tires. i say surprisingly because i was worried that 245/70/17 would look too small on mine after lift. No disrespect or...

how much actual lift from OME light duty's ?

well , my idea was to get light duty to bring the fender lower over the tire.245/70. plan#2 is........go for medium duty and 255/70/17 , only thing is duratracs dont come in that size.and the duratracs specs show they are wider than any of the 255 size tires out there, thats why i was sold on...

how much actual lift from OME light duty's ?

arb lists these as 1.5" lift coils but others on here, from what ive read, disagree, saying will get about an inch at most, is this true ? anyone have experience with these ? could i fit 245/70/17 with these ? If i go with the med. 926's , ive read that, in reality, u get like 2" of lift...

Are JBA a-arms necessary for alignment ??

Are JBA a-arms necessary for alignment ??

i just got my bilstein's and will be ordering my OME medium coils within the next week or two,and tires as soon as lift is installed. Cant find it now (figures) but i saw a thread saying that after lifting i wont be able to get fully into proper alignment without also buying JBA's a-arms...
