brake cleaner?
So basically I was hearing a roar in the front, I went to check it out because of this forum discovered the boot on the front drive shaft was destroyed. So I removed the front driveshaft. However, the "socket" on the transfer case side that the driveshaft fits into was really dirty from the boot...- Strike

Went to the NYC Auto Show...
totally i was thinking about that too and a new KJ would be awesome. I don't understand why they only ran it for a short while. Too bad the hardcore offroad magazine people hate it. I hope Jeep isn't just listening to them, so what if it gets a fancy interior? I am assuming that Jeep feels they...- Strike

How To: Change front driveshaft / change a driveshaft head
my first post I looked under my jeep today and noticed that boot was destroyed. i started getting the roaring noise also, im going to remove the shaft tomorrow and see if the noise is still there. i am very happy for this forum
