Thanks for the reply and advise. Unfortunately my KJ is in Spain, so while I'm here in the US I was hoping to get the part to take back with me. But then a return if needed costs as much as the part!!- Pckombi

2005 KJ, 2.8crd 6sp Transmission Selector
Hello, My Jeep is starting to regularly jump out of 1st gear on take off. There is no grinding noise, just a clean jump/clunk back to neutral. From what I have read, it can be either the Syncros or the 6sp shifter box. Most discussions point to the shifter box, as if it were syncros there...- Pckombi
