I vote Duratracs,...even though they don't make them in a 235/70/16. I just installed a set of 225/75/16 Goodyear Duratracs on my Wifes Libby. Her Libby has Stock sagging suspension as of now, "ordered some Bilsteins & new factory springs to take care of the sagging suspension" And we Love the...
Thanks. I've spent ALOT of time and sweat under that jeep. Lol. And it's still not close to being done. I have so much more planed for it. Just don't have the funds to continue with my plans now that we have a Child. Kids tend to take your money from your hobbies. :disgust: But that's ok. I...
Well I placed our order last night. Hopefully we will have everything by the end of the week, or beginning of next week.
Also I installed my Wifes new tires over the weekend. I have a tire machine at the house. Now just gotta take and get them the lifetime balance & rotation at the shop down...
Yep. You guessed correctly. Figured since I'm installing new struts and springs I might as well order new top plates and isol also. That way I can take all the new parts to a shop have them put together and then when I tear apart her KJ I can just swap out the old with the new. Plus id rather be...
We have just decided to go with Bilstein Struts & Shocks and New Factory Springs. The Wife refuses to lift her KJ regardless of it only being 1.5"-2.5" of lift. So New factory springs will be better than Old sagging springs, and at least she will be back to stock height but with good Struts &...
It used to be a parts donor until I stripped it clean and loaded it up and took it to the local crushing yard. Then it became a small square box. Then just  goodbye to it.
What I was referring to was that she is happy with the height its at now. So if we went with new stock suspension we would gain an inch from were we are at now. If we upgraded to the 925/947 we would gain the inch back plus an additional inch making it about 2". If we went with the heavier 926...
That's why I knew if I we went with the heavier weight springs we would be gaining like 3.5" of lift. Because it had already sagged 1" lower. And that would be way to much. The Wife would NOT be happy with that much. So figured the lighter weight springs after settling would only gain us an 1"...
Yep, here ya go.
And here's one of my 99 XJ. This was taken before I got my Snorkel & rear tire carrier. As you can notice my spare being up on the roof and all. Lol.
Just wanted to update you all, I measured my Wifes KJ's height last night when she got home from work. From the Center Hub To Bottom Of Renegade Bushwacker Style Fender Flares its 18" Front & 19" Rear.
Well I guess I never properly introduced myself,... My Name is Tony. I live in the Crappy State of V.A. I'm married with a child and probably more to come in the future. Lol. We are a Jeep Family. I used to own 3 XJ's now im down to only 1. And My Wife has a KJ. Here's the stats on our jeeps...
