    5W20 oil?

Thanks for the suggestions. 5W20 just seems to me to be a very low viscosity oil, and I am concerned about it shearing and losing film strength at high temperatures. If it were synthetic 5W20 I would not worry, but I seriously doubt it’s synthetic. I live along the South Carolina coast, and...

    5W20 oil?

The dealer performed the complimentary first oil change yesterday. Last night when I took a closer look at the invoice, it says they used 5W20 oil. The service department closed before I could ask them about it today. Is it ok to drive with the 5W20, or am I risking damage to the engine...

rusty screws around fuel filler neck?

Thanks for the advice. The dealer replaced the screws under warranty today. The service advisor said there is a TSB on the screws, which are replaced with a different style head (I think it’s a Phillips--but I’ll check tomorrow and post an image of them) when the Torx screws rust.

Does the extra fan that comes with the factory tow package make the Liberty sound louder for the first few minutes of operation (maybe due to the fan clutch)? It sounds louder than the Liberty V6s without the factory tow packages. ---------------------- ’06 Liberty Sport (factory tow pkg)

    mystery bolt under rear seat

I found a bolt lying on the rear floor under the left seat and was wondering if any of you have an idea where it came from. We purchased the Liberty new several weeks ago. Could the bolt have been an extra the factory left in by mistake and the dealer prep people just missed? Length is...

rusty screws around fuel filler neck?

We purchased a new 06 Liberty Saturday a week ago. It has a manufacture date of 8/06 and had 22 miles on it. When I went to refuel it last week, I found the screws around the filler neck are rusty. My sister’s 05 Liberty screws are not rusty at all even after a year in a coastal environment. Is...

torque setting for locks on aluminum wheels?

What should the lug nuts on the 16X7.0 lux alum silver wheels be torqued to? I purchased the Mopar wheel locks and the directions say to use the torque setting specified in the owner's manual. The only reference I can find in the owner's manual is "Correct wheel nut tightness is 130 Nm (95 ft...
