    Wiring up new speakers

    If it won't interfere with mechanicals, stuff some fiberglass in there behind the speaker - not packed, but full. I did that the last time I re-reinstalled some infinities in my '96 Grand and it helped a lot.

    Right after we bought the Lib I checked Crutch - just suprised at what I read about the tweets. I think they mean Lib-specific. I can see the day we replace the head unit - the tone controls are Bass -2 and Treb +8 and it just sounds OK.

    Ran 120 miles round-trip yesterday and got 23MPG. I have a KN filter according to the sticker on the airbox, came that way off the used lot. Maybe I should open it up and take a peek. 2004 LTD w/ 25K.

    There's a crossover somewhere, or there's just a capacitor before the tweeter's positive and the doors are full range. It's a four channel system with components on the front set of channels, that's all. Interesting that Crutch says there's no aftermarket tweets.
