the only prep work was wiping down the tail lights with, well what i used, was auto glass cleaner, which i'm sure Windex would have the same outcome, then i sprayed one coat. maybe my one coat was thicker than other people's coats? i don't know.. i did do the third brake light, but it kinda...- dejesu

is finally complete! originally tried to tint with Black Magic 'Premium' 35% Window tint... and this was a terrible experience, i don't even want to get into it... :favorites68: i then decided to get some VHT Night Shade spray, and it worked like a charm! i bought Krylon acrylic enamel clear...- dejesu

well my back window went...
my rear drivers side window died out on me, but apparently this is a pretty common problem in KJ's? tried to lower the rear window and i got a grinding noise.. so stupid me, i try it again. the window dropped right down and would not go up or down. took it to the shop and the power window...- dejesu

stock tints
right. i've checked with NYS laws, but they're pretty lenient if you go 5 or 10% lower than legal limits. i just want a tint that will be dark in the day, but BLACK at night.. and i feel like 25 or 30 will get the job done for that.- dejesu

nope, just an 07 'Trail Rated' KJ i never removed them, i just used some painters tape and made a square around the emblems, then sprayed the plasti-dip on... it peels right off of the car paint but sticks to the emblems!- dejesu
