Bosch are no good! ( at least thats what my fellow Jeepers tell me) I use Champion!
NGK are good for the Japanese cars, I would only use Champion in my Jeep, Good American Plug for a Good American Car.
And in the manual it says to change them at 30k... I did so and they would not have gone...
I just changed my rear and front diff oil, how long should I wait before I drive at all?
The RTV has been curing for about 4 hrs now, it says on the tube that complete curing takes 24 hrs..... would I be able to drive 10 miles down the road, or do I risk ruining my rear diff...
I also forgot to mention that the more I read about 'nutzerts' to attach my skid plates to my libby, the more I think I am not going to use them.
I have to see when I get em, but I would like to use some grade 8 hardware instead.
Yea.. I ordered the plate anyway even though it was for 05-06 and I have an 04. I figure, how much could they have the changed design?... and if it did change drasticly i'll just mod it to meet my purpose.
check out the following link from the L.O.S.T. Forum...
I ordered my skid plates!
I got em from jparts.com
$125.00 for x-fer, t-case, and engine plates. and of course free shipping for any order over $75

for any one who can't find info to their questions here, I got a lot of good info about skid...
Yes I would like to actually attach them to my bumper. I figure this will eliminate any squeaking and movement which was a complaint in the mounting method in the above 'how to' thread.
Also in a crash I don't really care if they go through my radiator. If I am in a crash of that manitude...
I was thinking of installing a pair of driving lights on my front bumper, right infront of the grill, (Bennett's Jeep has a set). Has any one done this them self.. could I just drill and attach them to the bumper?
What brands of lights do people recomend:
KC
Piaa..?
Let me know.
Thanks
If you already have a factory cd changer or, factory installed sirrius radio
it will not work because this device plugs into that input opn the back of your head unit.
Spark Plugs were done at 30k....
I don't think i'll get to my fluids (t-case, front and rear diffs) before I leave... Hopefully that won't cause any problems...
I haven't got much off roading done.. so I don't think it will be much of a problem
I am going on a road trip to Florida for Spring break from CT and I just checked my Libby from bumper to bumper and thought I would post my findings for any one interested.
Year:2004
Milage: 39,992
Ball joints: No movement.... at all!, very happy after reading various things on the...
Hey everyone. I just purchased and installed an aux input to the factory radio on my 2004 Libby. I bought it at Crutchfield, see link below for the item. I could have bought a new head unit, but until the summer I am on a tight budget, and this was an easy option as it only cost just under $80...
Its normal. I notice it alot in traffic when its in 1st (I have an automatic) and I go to accelerate past 15MPH, I get a chug as it shifts into second. One think I can recomend if make sure to keep the tach around 2k when you accelerate. For me that leads to nice smooth shifts.
