It's like he said...not your problem. You just paid over 20K for a brand new vehicle...you don't have to worry about problems. That's the dealers responsibility right now. Make them get it right.
In the 5 years the Liberty has been around, I have never heard of even one instance of a t-case or driveshaft failure. So I guess it works for us pretty well.
Well first of all, wind chill has NO effect on inanimate objects. So if it's not a warm blooded creature, the wind chill means nothing to it.
Second...these are not cracks from rocks. BOTH of my lenses started flaking and peeling off and cracking at the same time. While this was going...
SWEET! I called a few shops in Lexington and they quoted me $200 or so just to mount a Magnaflow muffler inline with my stock pipe. I was like...um..I don't think so!
So anyway, I had a Magnaflow welded on here locally and I've been loving it ever since. I think it honestly would have...
I have a low speed clunk coming from the rear. Only appeared after I installed new Rancho shocks. Shocks are not loose, nothing apparent is wrong. Wife even noticed it last night. It's real annoying. I have heard some people say that the rear gate can get loose or out of adjustment. I saw...
OK I got some pics of the tires ON the Jeep on my cardomain page now. www.cardomain.com/ride/2164878
I was about to check the oil in the pics...that's why the hood has a gap there if anyone wonders. :-s
Well anything below the freezing point of water will do it, so if you dip into the 20s in Texas...look out. So far the set of new lenses I got is holding up OK....
I have the exact same Jeep as Lea Ann, I've also had mine for 8 months and I'm just now over 16,000 miles. I recently switched to better tires (General Grabber AT2) and love them. Your wearing problem is not a defect with the Jeep, it's a defect with the tires. The stock tires are EXTREMELY...
Yeah I'll bet the CRD weighs as much as the 4.7L actually. The 4.7L size might be the one thing keeping it from physically working in a KJ but I don't know...it's really not that big of an engine.
I had the 4.7L in the Dodge truck that I traded for this CRD Libby. It was underpowered for...
I did straight pipe mine but it was a little too obnoxious for the wife so I had to put a Magnaflow on here. I like it so far. I think my new tires killed my mileage more than anything. Just got a best of 24.5 mpg on the way home from Florida last weekend. I want as much diesel noise as I...
Well, first of all...this problem seems to be with the sport model fog lights, NOT the Renegade fog lights which are mounted on the bumper.
The sport models have issues with the lights cracking in cold weather. The temp. dropped to 9° F here in December and that's when mine cracked. Dealer...
Had mine replaced at 14,000 miles due to cracking. Obviously the problem is the cheap plastic they make the lenses with can't take the cold weather. That is 100% Jeep's fault and the will keep replacing them on mine until I hit 36K no matter what they say.
It's the most quiet diesel engine I've ever seen. And I've been around a TON of diesels all my life. Personally, I've been trying to do everything I can to make mine sound more like a real diesel. The sound is 50% of the "cool factor" of diesel ownership.
The reason you'll never see the...
For anyone interested in the Rancho RS series shocks... the part number is the RS 5248. They are $15 bucks less per shock compared to the RSX series shock. I'm running the RS shocks on my lifted KJ.
Well the console is listed as a $150.00 part. Dealership has me one on order. They didn't give me too much fuss. Didn't act happy about it...but at least they didn't give me a hard time. Hey, it's not like I'm trying to get something extra out of them. I just want my Jeep back the way it...
Gosh I love these tires. Can you marry a tire in California? =P~ LOL.
Still working on getting some pics. Maybe I'll get to that tonight or tomorrow night then you guys can see them on the Jeep.
Found the problem. Dealer broke the mount that's under the t-case shifter. That's why the console is all jacked up and sits odd. Looks like I'm going back to the dealer for a new console today.
Yeah I know that's an option. But I really don't care to have them messing with my KJ anymore than they already have. I could probably fix it myself in 5 minutes if I just knew how it attaches.
