My parents just bought an 2005 kj limited. It came equipped with Sirius satellite radio built in. However there is no information in the kj about the Sirius radio. So... My question is...
Is the sirius radio ID number that is needed to activate the radio on the back factory radio casing or...
I drove mine to a dealer today. So I can check out and test drive the 05 KJ Limited my father is buying :-) (decided to buy it after I gave it my stamp of approval)
That's 3 liberty's in the family now.
Just do a search in eBay for jeep liberty front tow hooks. I got mine for about $100 new on there. OEM too
IMO i wouldn't bother buying the rear tow hook. I bought hitch for $60 dollars more and have a lot more flexibility with it. example I can use either a hook or Dlink attachment.
When I was searching for grilles the 02-04 liberty grille image was coming up as the stock picture for the grilles but if there an option to select 05-07 grille I'm sure you'll get the right one.
EDIT: I found this on autotrucktoys.com...
have you tried searching for a Liberty Renegade grilles? They too have the "flat Top" grille and are more common than the rocky mountain.
You can find chrome grille for around $150 to $180. That way there is no painting required and
simple. Open hood. clips over headlights and i think rad. Grille pops right off with no tools.
What do you need to pop it off for if you don't mind me asking?
there is no chime that i'm aware of. i have 2006 Liberty and my passanger side has never chimed. You say theres a way change it in the manual? What page?
I know you can turn the chime off or on for the driver side seat belt but never heard of enabling/disabling it for the passanger side.
I...
Let them do everything until its time to acutally pump the fuel and just get out and tell the assistant your tank has over flow issues and you'll pump the fuel to pervent a spill.
I've done it before in NJ with my KJ since my Tank will overflow as well.
My Jeep was doing the same thing from the front passanger @ 40mph and up. I thought it was bad bearing but my tires are also low on tread (35K on orginal tires). I also haven't rotated them in a Long time since my tires are at the end of there life cycle. So I decided to rotate my tires and...
I would take the same plan of attack to paint the badges. I've been thinking of repainting the badging on my Wife's KJ for while. The Chrome is long gone on them. Since her KJ is silver I was gonna paint them black but I can decide if I want a glossy or flat black.
That is very true. That's why I always rotate my spare. Sure I have to buy 5 tires instead of 4 but either way the spare would have to be replaced sooner or later so why not use it instead of letting it go to waste.
