Just got into reading about off roading rigs. Got bit by the bug. Never really done any myself, except for some crazy kid stuff 20yrs ago. Been scca autocrossing for a decade and a half, do all my own wrenching, and started looking for something else to do. I just plain love automobiles of all types
Yeah, I knew it had to have sagged. That was gonna be the next thing I researched. I did see many were getting about the same amount of sag before doing a lift. I would like to do the ome lift and do some wheeling. Have an off-road park close to me that needs to be done
I always just add alittle white lithium grease, always stops it instantly. My mazdaspeed protege has issues with this, even with new bushings. The grease always worked for me. Use it on everything I own
Started to do the drivers side(which everyone says is easier) and couldn't get all the harness out of the way. I actually had a middle injector harness that was already broken. The tab that you press to release it was cracked. No wonder it didnt wanna budge.

Can anyone verify that this actually works on a rbp? I saw this in doing a search on this site and have seen mixed results due to head unit and year. Crutchfield also has a similar item that also uses the 10pin like this ebay item

A quick question while im at it. When I have everything apart, I'd really like to clean this up, any problems with spraying the hell out the area with brake cleaner and wiping it down? That brake shield needs it too
Havent ordered anything yet. I'll look at it as well as price out the conventional separate pieces.
Im probably gonna do both sides while im at it. Too bad I just replaced my diff fluid
Had a slight wheelbearing/grinding noise from the back right wheel. Its very slight but noticeable while on throttle. I originally suspected a dragging caliper, but when I took that side apart I found this
Wtb, one functioning infinity dash "tweet" with the harness and capacitor still attatched. I was trying to see if I could make a 4" speaker fit and when pulling the stick connector off I accidentally pulled the capacitor apart. No way to get the same one without buying a whole new speaker from...
Also, one more question..
Can I rig some sort of catch and save all the coolant from the overflow, then just add it back in? It was just changed at the dealership I got it from, its ultra clean. I even saved some of it since they overfilled it when I bought it.
