    Sounds like an aftermarket alarm, but it can't be since you mention the Jeep keyring... Have you ever set off your alarm before? Does the horn honk continuously or do you get a "phweeping" type noise?

    Mine looks like that, too, now. I sort of regret not getting Ziebart coating done when I bought my Jeep. But thinking of how much the dealer was going charge me for it, I am glad I declined.

    I find they come in handy on rainy days when I have to have my ID scanned by security at the gate of a military installation. I can just crack the window open and slip my ID through without the rain droplets pouring in. Also, its good for airing out the Jeep on those rainy days when it's stuffy...

    Not sure if this helps (or if it's a universal thing), but a wire that is black usually represents negative. So the wire with the black stripe is negative. This may come in handy (speakers): White wire = Left Front Gray wire = Right Front Purple wire = Right Rear Green wire = Left Rear

    I may be wrong, but I don't think any sound would come out if the wires were crossed. When I was installing my speakers I had the music on. I'd touch the pos/neg to the terminals on the speakers and if I had placed them backwards, no sound would come out. Could it be possible the front sound...

    Bad smell from new Magnaflow

    Cool, Tony! You got a Magnaflow exhaust??? Which one? =P~ We've gotta meet some day and compare (Borla vs. Magnaflow). O:) Don't worry about that smell...I had that weird thing going on when I first had mine installed, too. It'll be gone in a week.
