Mine is an 03 renegade so that should work out! what about that 4.6" backspace. could u fit a 1/4" more on ur outer rims without problems???? thanks- trichard310

I understand the 16x7 is def. the better choice for the KJ. However, I dont want the TIRED soft 8's (everyone has these rims). Looking for a little more style and their aren't many 16x7 that are stylish, or even cool for that matter. From what I have read, people put 245's on rubicon rims all...- trichard310

what does everyone think: 16x8 rims w/4.6 inch of backspace. Gives a positive offset of 6. 245/75/r16 a/t kj is already lifted but, getting a new one(frankenlift or OME).- trichard310

Did I say 235, I meant 245's. That should work right???? As For the "PRO OPINION", Im simply refering to the diagnostics of my suspension problems, not trying to discredit anyones knowledge of the KJ. More tire and rim stuff, what to do?
Thanks everyone for the responses. I think I'm gunna go with 16x8 rims w/ +12 offset and 5" backspace, linked w/235/75/r16. As for the rest of my problems, I think I'm gunna take it to the suspension shop for a pro opinion. One again, thanks for everyone's input.- trichard310

I was under the impression that a more neg/neutral offset would push the rims out, away from the UBJ and sway bar. Their is no rubbing in the wheel well or anywhere around the flares. I could push them out and still have room to articulate. I am hoping for an 8" rim with 0 offset, this would...- trichard310

Actual Lift Amount - Lets Compare Fender Heights
This looks fun.... 2003 Renegade: Grey, Manual trans, 255/70r16 w/16x8's 73,000 miles 21" in the front 20" in the rear, both side are exactly the same and on the button. Here's the kicker; I dont know what kind of lift it has nor any other modification done! I just bought it about...- trichard310

It sounds like its rubbing in numerous spots(mostly in the front while turning...swaybar???) with the most significant area being on the inner sidewall of the driver side tire.
