No disrespect or anything. But the tires I got are available at the dealership I got them at. Only have to wait a couple days which I'm fine with since I have a second vehicle now.
I got them for about $150 each instead of $250-$280 that everywhere else wanted for them.
For 4 tires, Balance...
I called a transmission place and they suggested to check all wires going to the pressure sensor to see if one is pinched or damaged.
Found the Wiring diagrams here: https://cardiagn.com/2008-jeep-kk-system-wiring-diagrams/
Electrical Diagnostics here...
Just an update.
We found that the automatic transmission connector was full of dirt, We cleared it all out and - no luck.
We found that the solenoid connector may be missing some pins https://atracom.blob.core.windows.net/manuals/individual/2011/2011-182.pdf
Pin 7 seems to not be there at all...
I've seen that post last night, going to use it as a reference guide as well.
Hopefully I'm able to fix it, if not I guess it's time to sell. No point of emptying every pocket for an 08 with almost 300k KM on it.
The other code is P0935: Hydraulic Pressure Sensor Circuit High.
We worked on it for about 4 hours last night. We replaced all fuses to do with the ECM/TCM/Power terrain. Replaced the TCM relay.
Made sure that the Transmission transducer (This is what dodge called it) connector was fully...
Just got it back from dodge and $130 later....Damn stealerships. There was another code that I now can't remember what it is.
They want me to buy a harness just so they can take a plastic connector off of it to wire it into my harness.
Harness is $130 + 2 hours of labour + tax = Around $400...
It's currently at dodge now. When I made my rear main seal done the connector was loose causing some issues. Got it plugged back in, code for that was still showing up. Now my guess is that code turned into the P1745 code that I'm currently getting.
I just got this code all of a sudden, Now I did get my rear main seal replaced and went to Dodge to confirm the fluid level.
Now I called Dodge and they said something about wiping the variable counter whatever that means.
Has anyone ran into this before?
I'm unsure of the levels since a shop corrected them. I believe one is around 50, at the beginning they said that one was 110.
Do you by chance know the relay? I've looked everywhere and never got a solid answer.
Once the pump was replaced then recharged it works properly for a week or so then just stopped. I can move the clutch freely but it still won't engage the clutch at all.
So I seem to be having A/C issues, I got a pump and replaced it since the original one kicked the bucket. Got it recharged by the dealer with the correct stuff and pounds.
It was working fine for about a week and a half then just randomly stopped during a trip.
I've replaced the fuse already...
I have the cooper discover at/3's currently and am not a fan of them at all. During the summer their great but in the winter I get no traction at all with them. Going off-road with them wasn't great either. I don't tend to carry any extra weight unless going on a trip but even then it's not much.
I take it that there is no way to regain the power loss back besides re-gearing correct?
My MPG is roughly 16MPG city give or take, I'm not too sure about highway since I've never really noticed much.
I'll have to hook up my OBD2 reader and find out a solid number.
Has anyone used the ironman all country 10ply tires before?
I'm just wondering if they are any good before I buy them. My jeep is stock, no lift and no re-gearing.
So I brought my jeep to the shop to get an oil change done and have them check to see if I was leaking from anywhere else.
The oil pressure sender wasn't leaking. He said that the front seal and the bellhousing were both leaking.
I'm wondering what it would take to replace these on my own and...
I'll give that a try and see how it goes.
Should I be adding this when I do an oil change or can I add it at any time?
If I'm adding it in how much should I be adding if I'm in the safe area on the dip stick?
Mines got 278,000KM on it, but it seems like it's consuming more oil then just a quart. I'm going to take sometime tonight and check the oil sender while I fix my headlights since they seem to be acting up now.
