    My Latest Project; Trailer (RE)Build

That's a great looking trailer. I'm looking for a 4 x 8 to enclose for my drag snowmobile. 8 foot will need extra fabrication to hold a sled. This way when I get to the track a 4 wheeler can pull my trailer down to the ice.

    New gear mounted up

It freaks me out when I hear people using MBRP on vehicles. On a snowmobile you can expect to lose HP with those things

    M12 x 1.75 x 50mm? Hitch bolts revisited

I purchased M12 x 1.75 x 50mm bolts today(per another thread here) and they are way too big for the threads in my chassis for the hitch. Is this the correct size and/or is there an additional size that Jeep used?

    Ugh... Rust

I have the same issue with one of my doors where the caulk failed at the seam between the exterior and inner skin. I cleaned up the seam on the inside as best as I could then body filled it so the water will roll off the bottom of the door. The inside of the bottom of my doors kind of look...

    Need help with cb antenna!

What is the range of VHF/UHF? Lower side band CB pokes out fairly far from what I can tell but I haven't used my CB in years other than listening to others while in the garage. The popularity of cell phones really put a damper on my CB usage.

KJ- The proper rear trailer hitch?

Hooking up a trailer wiring harness on a Liberty is like a crazy nightmare. Crazy expensive and with a GM truck you just un-plug a connector by the spare tire and plug in the t and boom, your done.

KJ- The proper rear trailer hitch?

j-rod thanks for the heads up on the car parts site. I scored on a hitch for $40 about 10 miles away. It's in better shape than the one on the GMC extended cab, long bed lease I just turned in. I plan on cleaning it up and coating it with textured truck bed coating.

    Need help with cb antenna!

Being that I'm new here most of what I have to bring to the table is most-likely out of the box but maybe one of those ratcheting marine antenna bases might work for what you want to do. When you want to lay the antenna down just adjust the angle. I messed with a 12'-14' fiberglass Shakespear...

    Need help with cb antenna!

I think he wants to tie it back so it's pulled down most of the time. Look into a Wilson antenna. They make nice stuff. http://www.wilsonantenna.com/
