    Increasing Fuel Efficiency in KJ--Acetone?

I'm not a math genius or anything, but given the 15 cents per ounce that they say acetone costs, that'd be US$22.20 per gallon. Even if constantly adding it to the tank would help fuel economy, is it really economical?

    Hey whats up guys???

Sicboy (na na na na) Damn, couldn't resist a Social Distortion reference. There's a guy on ebay right now selling four 17" dodge/jeep wheels with tires and pressure sensors (probably useless to you) for around $699. I'm no expert, but I'm pricing new tires right now and can't get them for...

    Another EVIC/TPMS question. Dealership sucks.

I only whined about that because I thought I saw a picture showing all five pressure levels simultaneously on one of the sites I linked. On checking it again, the pic I saw was of a test screen counting the signals over time from the individual sensors.

    Another EVIC/TPMS question. Dealership sucks.

Here are my menu options: Language US/Metric Auto door locks Auto unlock on exit Remote unlock driver door 1st Sound horn with lock Flash lights with lock Headlamp delay Service interval Tain remote Retrain sensors Of those, I can only change the language, US/Metric, Service interval, Train...

    Another EVIC/TPMS question. Dealership sucks.

That's an answer I haven't really gotten clarification on. Are the options displayed a factor of the original car the EVIC came with, or do they all have the same options? Mine displays options, but doesn't let me make changes on most of them.

    Another EVIC/TPMS question. Dealership sucks.

It's not necessarily that simple, but yes. I wanted the "AG" model from 2002 so I knew it'd be compatible, have instant MPG, and read PSI. 2003 and above dropped the instant MPG feature. Any EVIC up to and including an 04 model will work fine on an 02. Part numbers that work and have PSI are...

    Another EVIC/TPMS question. Dealership sucks.

Just and update for myself and for anyone who has the misfortune of going to ask a dealer for anything. My sensors came in and I "trained" them in my hand using a magnetic parts tray. Everything worked just fine. As part of the training, the EVIC asked me for the spare tire sensor as well...

Taching at Highway speed with new 245's

I understand it's nothing for a dealer to reprogram your system for larger tires. And dude, don't take pics going that fast ;) Wait, I live in Atlanta; it's impossible to go that fast in the first place.

    New Head unit

Just like mine. They're amazingly hard to find around here in stores. Even crutchfield didn't carry them when I bought my headunit. I tried both out and liked the flush-mount model a lot better, even though the pocket is way too narrow and way too deep.

    Ghetto Sirius

Always have a few small ones dropped in the door pocket. ;)

    New Head unit

You might want to shift into neutral to pull the bezel off. When you see the force it takes, you'll realize that the screw on the bottom right is pretty much useless. Once off, you can rotate the bezel enough to get to the radio mount without having to disconnect anything. And yes, remember...

    Ghetto Sirius

The Sirius Connect vehicle dock fits so snugly, it almost looks like it belongs there. Lets me grab it on the way inside, as well.

    New Head unit

Btw, don't know if you've noticed but Metra (seems to be the mfr of all dash kits for aftermarket radios) makes two different versions for Jeeps with round corners. The standard one has the headunit poking out from the dash. The other one lets the headunit sit further back, more flush with the...

    Another EVIC/TPMS question. Dealership sucks.

Ok, guys, I need a little affirmation here. At the very least someone to tell me I'm not completely dumb. Here's what I have: 2002 Liberty Limited Here's what I added: ...756AG EVIC with TPMS ...990AC sensors and the front temperature sensor The EVIC came out of a junked 2002 Chrysler car...

    Hey, people. Thanks.

Other than beefing up the sound system, and maybe a selec-trac, I doubt it. As much as I'd like to, the money isn't there, and I realize that I'm probably not going to go offroad in it. EDIT: Forgot to mention I'm going to cover the ashtray with a piece of black ABS and mount some USB ports...

    Hey, people. Thanks.

I've been lurking here for a few months and finally decided to register and say thanks to all the guys here for gathering information and keeping it in one place. I bought a used '02 Liberty Limited from a guy in February. It was immaculate, pre-lowered, and had 75kmi on it. Couldn't pass it...
