I just checked both on mine...same thing. And I KNOW my dipstick is OE. I tend to lean towards checking it in Park. Maybe I'll check with one of those on-line on-call techs and see what they have to say.
Isn't there a programming tool that can be bought that will turn off the TPM warnings? I remember seeing it somewhere online early this year in my (thus far futile) attempt to turn them off in my 04. I didn't buy it because it would only work on 05 and later.

Just curious...do you folks like the u-joints with the zerk fitting on the cap or on the body? I haven't had to change one yet and I was curious if one way had an advantage over the other. My '04 doesn't see much stressful driving, so I was even considering the greaseless ones with no fitting at...
I would NEVER buy a used/refurbed TPMS sensor. I would spend the money on new and be safe that I'm going to get the full 8 to 10 years out of the batteries. Costs too much to be removing/reinstalling the tires any more than necessary.
I like the deals at Discount, but I don't let them NEAR my vehicles with their airguns, not even for removals. I specifically tell them lug and torque wrenches only, and I stay there and watch. Went to that policy after they broke the 6th lug.
