FRS & GRMS handhelds
i just bought a frs/gmrs set of handhelds tonight. 10-mile range only 40 bucks. I got around 3-4 miles max out of them on grms mode though.- kegjeep

just got back from mammoth cave in kentucky
i still need to take some pics, waiting to get a new digital camera. Mammoth cave is definatly worth it. If you go make sure you get a reservation for a tour because they fill up pretty fast. just got back from mammoth cave in kentucky
went from bloomington to cave city this weekend, about 6hr drive each way. averaged between 21-22mpg, much better than the 19-20 i was getting before. I now have around 2400 miles on my 05 jeep!- kegjeep

need a recommendation...
I was wondering if any of you can recommend a good D-Ring Receiver Hitch and recovery strap? How much lb strength would be adequate for the strap? yea its not really loud, its just a small click. I hear it all the time with my 05 sport, but it depends of the back gate is locked or not. it only happens when im in reverse going slow.- kegjeep

even if it did improve gas mileage by 2mpg, is it worth it? probably not, you will prob save a few hundred bucks at most per year. definatly not worth it if it has a chance of damaging your engine parts, but i guess thats some of your guys own opinions.- kegjeep

well inventories of gasoline are up so thats good news also, the price of crude has been dropping the past couple days...we'll see if that hold outs. if we can get the price below $50 a barrel again then we will get some relief. 13.7 seems a bit low my first tank of gas with my 05 that i got around a month ago was around 15-16mpg, 95% city driving. I'm pretty happy with it.- kegjeep
